Anderlecht escape at Tubize
May 4, 2009

RSC Anderlecht failed to create a gap with title rivals Standard de Liege, as the Brussels outfit drew 1-1 with relegation candidates AFC Tubize.
The home side were in fact close to a win as Gregory Dufer put Tubize ahead on 83 minutes, but Marcin Wasilewski equalised in the last minute to at least earn the away team a point.
Anderlecht’s Jan Polak had been sent off with a second yellow card in the 71st minute.
As a result, Anderlecht and Standard continue to share their lead with two games to go. Anderlecht have the better goal record.
