Costa Rica U-17 World Cup match abandoned due to rain

Costa Rica’s Under-17 World Cup match against Turkey was abandoned after 21 minutes due to heavy rain on Wednesday and was postponed until Thursday.

The match started 90 minutes late and then was interrupted with less than a quarter of the game completed. The match was tied 0-0 when abandoned and was to be replayed in its entirety on Thursday.
