Bergkamp targets coaching job in England

November 26, 2009

Dennis Bergkamp would like to work as a coach in England in the future. The Arsenal legend sees himself as a specialist striking coach and not as a head coach because he doesn’t want the pressure of a head coaching job.

The 40-year-old former Dutch international became a firm fans’ favourite at the Gunners, ending his career in north London after previously starring for Ajax and Inter. He currently works as youth coach at his first club Ajax. He has in the past hinted that he would consider joining Arsene Wenger’s coaching staff at the Emirates, and has revealed that it is certainly England where he would like to cut his coaching teeth.

“I want to work and train a team in England,” he told Dutch magazine JFK.

“Not as a head coach but instead as a member of staff, where I could work specifically with the strikers.

“Being a coach means you have to work 24 hours a day and that does not suit me. You have to watch matches at home, travel to see other teams, prepare training – it is something that I am not ready to do.”

Moyes happy at Everton

April 12, 2009

LONDON (AFP) – David Moyes says that while he’s flattered by talk of his succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United his sole concern is to win trophies for Everton.

Ferguson is known to be an admirer of Moyes who cut his managerial teeth at Preston and has done well on a modest budget since taking over at Everton.

Ahead of his side’s clash with United in next weekend’s FA Cup semi-final Moyes told The News Of The World on Sunday: “I try not to take any notice but obviously stuff comes back to you.

“It is nice. But maybe it’s Alex Ferguson having a different kind of mind games…to soften David Moyes up.

“That might be the case or it might not. But I would never be disloyal or disrespectful to my club.

“Yes, it’s a nice thing. But was it not only a year ago that people were saying it was going to be Roy Keane or Mark Hughes or Martin O’Neill taking over from Sir Alex?

“I really enjoy this job and I’d like to win something for these supporters.

“A lot of supporters get fed up with managers being changed. Everton supporters have been really good to me and I’d like to give them something back. It would be a great way to cap the season.”

Jordan Slates Lucy Pinder and Wants Her Out of the CBB House

January 9, 2009

Jordan who claims to have outgrown getting her claws stuck into other females who could rival her in the looks department, has given Lucy Pinder a tongue lashing.

Jordan says she met Lucy about 10 years ago when she was just starting out, and was happy to give her advice. She says Lucy claimed she would never do glamour modelling but now look at her. Getting them out all over the place! Jordan ranted on claiming, ‘it’s b******s she’s all natural. She used to have a right beak on her, I reckon she’s had her nose done. And I’d say her lips and teeth are fake too’.

Jordan who’s no shrinking violet claimed that beneath Lucy’s skirt is a bloke with b******s. She’s tough. A real bitch.

On a brighter note Jordan is sticking by her drinking buddy Michelle Heaton and says she getting the Price vote. Pete added he thought all Michelle Heaton’s hard work at the gym has paid off as she looked great in that catsuit….very brave words from our Pete, bet he’ll be in the dog house for that little observation!
